The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Morales misses with a hook
and Aldo counters with a three punch combo that has Morales backing up. Morales nods at Aldo to acknowledge the strikes.
Morales tries to clinch but Aldo moves away
and Aldo counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Aldo digs a good hook to Morales's body.
Aldo cracks Morales with a right hand to the side of the head.
Morales tries to clinch but Aldo moves out of range.
Morales on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Morales moves in looking to clinch but Aldo pushes him off.
Aldo swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
A looping hook to the body misses from Morales. Aldo does a little dance to reset his feet.

Aldo drops his hands momentarily and Morales takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

and Aldo counters with a low kick, right behind Morales 's knee.
Morales moves in looking to clinch but Aldo pushes him off.
Aldo lands with an uppercut that bounces Morales off the cage and back into range.

Morales is rocked!
I'm just looking down at my notes here and I see that.... oh! Aldo has cracked Morales with a big right, followed by a left! He's out on his feet! Aldo lands another huge swinging hook and Morales tumbles to the canvas! The ref dives in to save Morales, before Aldo can land any more shots!
