Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between John Dux (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Four Loko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Loko has chosen marry yourdaughter as his entrance music. John Dux has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 33 - 24 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Four Loko!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dux looks to land a combination but Loko avoids it well.

Dux fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Loko to the ground. Dux is now in Loko's guard.
We've been hearing good reports from Dux's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.
Dux slips nicely into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Dux is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Loko sees it coming and defends easily.

Dux is looking for a kimura but Loko is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Dux to get the leverage.

Loko tries to roll over but Dux keeps him under control.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Loko is looking for a sweep. Dux is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Dux is trying to work for a kimura but Loko is defending well.

Dux is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Dux drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Loko manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Dux has Loko in his guard.

Dux is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Dux escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Loko gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Loko content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though.

Loko escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Dux misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Dux darts in and clinches Loko up against the cage.
Dux tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Loko wants to get back to striking at distance but Dux won't allow it.
Dux really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Dux shoots in for a double leg but Loko sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Loko blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
Loko has had enough of the clinch but Dux keeps him there for the moment.

That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for John Dux. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Loko is working for a kimura but Dux is defending it quite comfortably.

Dux is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Loko's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Loko's back!

Dux looking to break Loko's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Loko remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Dux will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke!

Dux is trying to stick to Loko's back but Loko is turning into Dux. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Dux's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Loko.

Dux has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Loko is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Dux.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

and Loko counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Dux is lucky that one didn't land flush.
Dux sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.

and Loko counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Dux thinking.

Loko throws a series of punches but Dux moves out of range.

Dux fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Loko, pushing him back against the cage.

Loko breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Dux drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Loko manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Dux has Loko in his guard.


Loko got a little sloppy there for a moment and Dux has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Loko has managed to get both his arms back between Dux's legs - danger averted.

Dux tries to close the distance and clinch but Loko swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

John Dux is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Dux shoots in for a takedown but Loko shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

John Dux seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Dux is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Loko.

Loko replies with a solid counter kick to the body but Dux blocks it well.

Dux shoots in looking for a takedown. Loko tries to sprawl out of it but Dux keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Loko manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

I think Loko has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
