Apple moves into the clinch successfully.

Masters decides to pull guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Apple wants to pass the guard but Masters is keeping the position.
We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Apple has eaten all the pies!
Masters is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Masters throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.
Apple wants to control from the top but Masters keeps moving.
Masters wants to get back to his feet but Apple is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Masters has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage.
Masters will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Apple content to sit in guard, stalling... Great. Oh but he could get punished here because Masters has locked up a guillotine! Masters's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? Apple is holding on here and Masters must be using up a lot of energy. Apple has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! Masters gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!
