And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Valeri Chadov, Vladimir Khabensky and Ivan Kurochkin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jewtuszko takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Nyberg is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Jewtuszko gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Jewtuszko tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Nyberg escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Jewtuszko tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Nyberg swivels and escapes.
Nyberg throws a leg kick
letting Jewtuszko counter with a right hand.
Matti Nyberg seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Nyberg connects with a body shot.
Jewtuszko is looking to clinch but Nyberg is avoiding it.
Nyberg paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Jewtuszko drops his hands momentarily and Nyberg takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Jewtuszko is rocked!
Jewtuszko tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Nyberg paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Oh Jewtuszko is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Jewtuszko slips a jab and a cross from Nyberg.
Jewtuszko seems to have got his legs back now.

Nyberg throws a series of punches but Jewtuszko avoids them all with ease.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Jewtuszko darts in trying to clinch
and Nyberg scores with a counter punch that sends Jewtuszko to the canvas! Nyberg smells blood - he's punishing Jewtuszko with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Jewtuszko has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:06 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Matti Nyberg!
A pretty intense looking Matti Nyberg took the opportunity post-fight to ask for a shot at the title.
