Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Frank Dennis and Alan Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hunter checks the leg kick.

and Del Oeste counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.

Hunter cracks a nice hook into Del Oeste's ribs.
Del Oeste slips a jab from Hunter.
Del Oeste throws out a counter right but Hunter avoids it with no problem.

Del Oeste manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Hunter on his heels. He'll look to pass Hunter's guard now, I'm sure.

Hunter gets through Del Oeste's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
Hunter creates a bit of space for himself and rocks Del Oeste with a big uppercut! Del Oeste tries to clinch up but Hunter pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples Del Oeste to the mat! Del Oeste covers up and Hunter unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:30 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Deontay Hunter!

Ryan Del Oeste spoke after the fight, saying 'Tomorrow I'll be back in camp training, getting better than ever. Then I will come back and show what I am really made of.'.
