Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Kalam Mekhar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Zephaniah Judah (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Judah swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Mekhar goes for a double leg but Judah avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Judah continues to drive forward.
Judah throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Mekhar ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Mekhar is looking to clinch but Judah is avoiding it.
Mekhar shoots in and drives through. Judah sprawls well.
We've been hearing reports that Mekhar has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Judah cracks Mekhar with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.

Judah digs a good body shot into Mekhar's ribs.
Judah looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

Mekhar drops his hands momentarily and Judah takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

Judah gets tackled into the cage by Mekhar. Mekhar maintains the clinch.

Judah's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Judah throws a hook to the side of Mekhar's head but Mekhar sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Judah cracks Mekhar with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Judah has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Mekhar to stand back up!

Mekhar scores with a one two! Judah had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Oh Mekhar is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Mekhar lets loose with a powerful body kick. Judah will feel that in the morning.
Mekhar seems to have got his legs back now.
Judah dodges the punch combination from Mekhar.
Mekhar moves in looking to clinch but Judah pushes him off.
Judah has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Mekhar.

Judah throws a body punch but Mekhar moves out of range.
Kalam Mekhar seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Judah scores with a sloppy right hand. Mekhar should have avoided that one.
Judah lands a slapping body shot.
A looping hook to the body misses from Judah. Mekhar does a little dance to reset his feet.
Judah throws a hook to the side of Mekhar's head but Mekhar sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Zephaniah Judah is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Mekhar looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Mekhar throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Judah throws a body punch but Mekhar moves out of range.
Judah stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Mekhar.

Mekhar dives in for a single leg takedown but Judah sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kalam Mekhar. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Judah stuns Mekhar with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Judah scores with a jab. Mekhar acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Judah ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Mekhar moves away.
Mekhar is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Judah.
Thud! ouch! good body kick from Mekhar - that will leave a mark!
Judah pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's time! Mekhar's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Judah dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Judah pounces like a tiger and cracks Mekhar with a vicious hook! Mekhar is down but not out! Judah follows up with more strikes forcing the ref to jump in and stop it!
