Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Thiago Oliveira (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fedor Putin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Oliveira is coming into this fight with a significant injury, which will no doubt have an effect on his cardio. Fedor Putin has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Thiago Oliveira's chin.

The judges for this bout are Felipe Paraventi, Edson Gomes and Luis Engracia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Putin shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Oliveira tries to kick Putin off in order to stand up. Putin Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control.
Oliveira is breathing heavily.
Putin scoring with punches and elbows.
Putin is staying tight to Oliveira's torso, preventing him from escaping.
Putin creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots.
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.
Putin working the ground and pound from side control.
Putin scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Oliveira to see if he's OK.
Oliveira is rocked!
Putin is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Oliveira has escaped the position, nice work there.
Oh Oliveira is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Putin is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Putin grinds an elbow into Oliveira's temple.
Putin controls the position.
In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Putin working his ground and pound in the gym. So far it seems to be working well.
Putin lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.
Putin is staying tight to Oliveira's torso, preventing him from escaping.
Putin tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Putin has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Putin tries to advance to mount but can't.
A lull in the action here.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Putin's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
Let's hope that Putin has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
Putin lands a huge shot from side control! Oliveira is out cold! This one is all over!
