Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between The Artist (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pit Mies (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Artist might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Limp Bizkit / Break Stuff. Mies has chosen Condemned 84 - Face the agression as his entrance music. The Artist has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Artist closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Mies's coach down at Bruize Brothaz was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Mies's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Mies tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Artist manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Artist was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.
Mies walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Mies missing with a left hand there. Artist was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Mies lands a nice hook to Artist's body. Artist takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Artist misses with the combination.
Artist digs a good body shot into Mies's ribs.
Artist listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
Mies takes a jab right on the kisser.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Mies gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Mies takes one on the chin but seems OK.

Mies throws a hook but Artist avoids it easily.

Mies moves in looking to clinch but Artist pushes him off.

We've been told by Artist's head coaches at Rape Academy (7 elite, 6 2x elite) that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Artist's jab looks to have found its range, popping Mies under the eye.

Mies takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Mies is still on wobbly legs! Can Artist finish him?
Mies throws a right hand that Artist ducks under and follows up with a left that Artist also avoids with ease.
An attempted straight right counter from Artist misses the target.
Artist throws an overhand right that drops Mies like a sack of potatoes! Artist dives in to finish the fight with more strikes and this one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:21 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). The Artist!
After winning the bout, The Artist thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
Pit Mies was interviewed post fight and said 'I will be back stronger!'.
