Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Maki Pulu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Katsuya Yasumi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pulu comes to the ring accompanied by Alive. Yasumi is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Lunchmoney Lewis-Real Thing. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the ring.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Pulu.
Yasumi displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Pulu.

Yasumi leaves Pulu with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Yasumi is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here.
Pulu shoots in looking for a takedown but Yasumi manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Pulu's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Pulu has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Yasumi is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Pulu.
