Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rayder Garner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mick Carter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mick Carter is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Rayder Garner!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Mick Carter!
The judges for this bout are Bart Greer, Santiago Holmes and Peter Branson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Carter doesn't manage to clinch there - Garner circles away.
Garner half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.
Carter tries to close the distance and clinch but Garner swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Carter takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

Garner closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Garner wants to pass to mount but Carter is defending the position.

Garner looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Carter with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Carter is looking for a sweep. Garner is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Carter wants to control the action here but instead Garner manages to pass to full mount!

Carter is bucking up trying to escape but Garner cracks him with another couple of good strikes.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Garner cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
