Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Nate Gonzalez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pyry Kontio (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gonzalez comes to the cage accompanied by Gangsta Gangsta. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gonzalez scores with a nice strike.
Kontio fails with the takedown
letting Gonzalez counter with a right hand.
We've been told by Gonzalez's head coaches at Woodhouse's that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Gonzalez throws a good cross that connects.

Kontio shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Gonzalez slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Gonzalez has momentary wrist control but Kontio slips an elbow through the middle.

Kontio wants to control from the top but Gonzalez keeps moving.

Kontio stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Gonzalez swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Kontio lands a couple of digs.
Kontio is working Gonzalez over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Kontio stays in close to Gonzalez's body and controls the position.
Kontio connects with a couple of short punches.

Kontio lands a couple of good shots and Gonzalez has given up his back, trying to escape the position!

Kontio is looking for a triangle but Gonzalez pushes his legs off easily.

Gonzalez content to sit in guard, stalling... Great. Oh but he could get punished here because Kontio has locked up a guillotine! Kontio's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? Gonzalez is holding on here and Kontio must be using up a lot of energy. Gonzalez has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! Kontio gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!

A relieved looking Pyry Kontio thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
