Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Noah Sampson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Jay Scott!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, James Atkins and Richard Clark.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Scott lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.


It looks like Noah Sampson has been cut.
Sampson tries to clinch up.
A lazy body kick from Scott
and Sampson counters with a series of strikes. Scott will be more careful next time no doubt.
Nice body kick there by Scott.
Scott throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Sampson has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Scott.
Scott fakes the leg kick and cracks Sampson in the body.
Scott lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Sampson at a distance.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Sampson enables Scott to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Sampson manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Sampson looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Scott passes into side control.
Scott passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Sampson!

Scott is working for a guillotine from mount but Sampson frees his head quite easily.

Scott looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Sampson is in all sorts of trouble here.
Scott sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.

Scott stands up from the dominant position, so we're back on the feet.

Sampson clinches up with Scott and pushes him back against the cage.

Scott pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Scott throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Jay Scott seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Sampson slips a jab from Scott.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Scott lands a lovely overhand right.
Sampson wants to clinch.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Scott misses with a knee strike.

Scott's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Scott scores with a kick to the body.
Sampson is breathing heavily.
Scott throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Scott misses with a body kick.
Sampson appears to be looking for a big counter.
Sampson uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Scott.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Good work by Sampson as he checks the leg kick.
Scott connects with an inside leg kick.
Scott pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Sampson avoids the body shot from Scott.
Scott throws a leg kick which misses Sampson's front leg but catches the back leg as Sampson tries to avoid it.

Scott gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Scott crunches a lovely knee into Sampson's ribcage.

Scott has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Sampson regains guard immediately.
Scott is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Scott engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.

Scott stands up from Sampson's guard - Scott perhaps looking for a knockout.
Scott tries for a takedown but Sampson sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Scott works the jab nicely.
Scott lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Sampson at a distance.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Scott pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
It looked like Sampson was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Scott.
Scott misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Sampson.

Sampson scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.

Scott bucks up and manages to escape back to his feet!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Jay Scott dominated that round.

A nice inside leg kick there by Scott. That's going to slow Sampson down.

Sampson clinches.
Scott is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.
Sampson tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Scott smiles and moves away.
Sampson takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Scott lands a nice hook to Sampson's body. Sampson takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Scott tries to land a front kick but Sampson steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Scott swings for the body but Sampson moves out of range.
Nice body kick from Scott.

Jab by Scott.
Scott fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Sampson.
Scott throws a wild body kick that Sampson sees coming a mile off.
Sampson takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Scott takes a swing at Sampson's ribcage but misses.
Noah Sampson is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
A jab from Scott does it's job there.
Scott throws a nice looking combination but Sampson bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Scott has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.
A slapping leg kick lands for Scott.
Good standup being displayed there by Scott as he connects with a hook.


Sampson is rocked!
Scott connects with a leg kick. Sampson looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Oh Sampson is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Sampson walks into a straight right, dropping him to the canvas! Scott swarms him and finishes the fight with a hail of punches! What a brutal finish!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:49 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Jay Scott!
Our winner, Jay Scott, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
