Bixby has closed the distance and engaged Pompier in a clinch.

Pompier wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Bixby has him pressed against the cage.

Bixby keeps control of Pompier as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.

Pompier breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Nice defenses there by Pompier.
Bixby throws a lazy right hand but Pompier sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
A little jabbing left from Pompier on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Pompier avoids a punch combination nicely.

Pompier uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Bixby.
The fighters circle momentarily. Pompier darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Bixby lands with a nice body punch.

Buzz Bixby seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bixby tries to clinch up but Pompier circles away and keeps his distance.

Pompier pushes Bixby off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.

Bixby closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Pompier! Bixby dives in looking to finish! Pompier is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!
