Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Sutter Cane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Johnny Unkown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Unkown has chosen I.C.P. BITCHES! MIRrorCulZ as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Unkown swings for the body but Cane moves out of range.
Cane jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Unkown misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Cane is looking to counter punch.

and Cane counters with a stiff right hand.
Cane stuffs the takedown attempt from Unkown. Unkown gets slowly back to his feet.
Unkown bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

It looks like Johnny Unkown has been cut.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Unkown walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Cane checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.

Unkown misses with a few strikes there.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Unkown crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Cane - the referee stops the clock and Unkown gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Cane. Unkown manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Unkown darts in looking for a takedown but Cane gets double underhooks and turns Unkown into the cage.

Cane is not content to let Unkown control the position.

Unkown is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Cane is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Unkown thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Unkown wants to lay and pray for a moment but Cane keeps working.

Cane regains half guard there - taking advantage of Unkown's attempt to lay and pray for a moment.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.

Cane throws a low kick, looking for Unkown's leg but Unkown calmly moves out of range.
And Unkown responds with a good body kick, but Cane manages to step out the way in time.

Unkown has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.
Unkown will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

It appears Cane was looking to counter with a kick there.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Sutter Cane is winning the standup battle so far.
Cane leaves Unkown with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Unkown tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.

Unkown takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
A punch lands to the side of Unkown 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Unkown throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Cane fires out a quick counter leg kick but Unkown just manages to avoid it.

Sutter Cane showed his dominance in that final round.
