Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, George Francis and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yamaguchi lands a body shot.
Yamaguchi connects with a looping right hand.
Bermuda shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Yamaguchi sprawls well. Yamaguchi wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Bermuda gets slowly back to his feet.
Bermuda changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Yamaguchi looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Yamaguchi felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.
Bermuda creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Yamaguchi sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
Yamaguchi tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Bermuda wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Bermuda looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Yamaguchi is avoiding damage well.

Bermuda throwing ground and pound but whilst doing so, he forgets to control position and Yamaguchi works his way back to half guard. Good composure under pressure.

Bermuda in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Bermuda throws an elbow that misses. Yamaguchi uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Bermuda's guard. Nice move by Yamaguchi!
Yamaguchi won't allow Bermuda to get back to his feet.
Yamaguchi stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Bermuda swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Bermuda is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Bermuda trying to keep a closed guard but Yamaguchi is proving a slippery customer.
Yamaguchi throwing strikes from guard but Bermuda blocks nicely.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Yamaguchi controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Bermuda with a poor takedown
and Bermuda takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Kai Yamaguchi is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

and Yamaguchi counters with a stiff right hand.

Kai Yamaguchi tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
