Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Terryn Dall (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nick Meier (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dall kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Skin for Skin. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Terryn Dall!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Nick Meier!
The judges for this bout are John Kavanagh, Reed Andrews and Lou da Vinci.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Meier gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Dall.

Meier has closed the distance and engaged Dall in a clinch.
Meier creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses.
Meier looking to throw knees to the head but Dall is blocking nicely.
Meier misses with a hook from the clinch.
Dall lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
Meier looks to throw an elbow but misses.

Meier manages to break the clinch.
Meier misses with a left hand
and Dall counters with a body kick.
Dall fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Meier.
A jab lands there for Meier.
Dall throws a big shot that misses.
Meier keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Meier fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Dall lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Meier tries to clinch up
and Dall makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Dall throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Meier's head.


It looks like Nick Meier has been cut.

Dall shoots in and gets a takedown into Meier's guard.
Dall stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Meier swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Meier looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Meier really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Dall. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Dall controls from within his opponent's guard.
Dall wants to control from the top but Meier keeps moving.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Dall stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Meier swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Meier controls Dall momentarily but Dall frees himself.
Dall not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.

Dall shoots in for a takedown and gets it.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Dall is looking for a kimura here.
Meier is looking to get full guard. It looks like he might be successful but at the last minute Dall jumps into side control!
Meier looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Dall has control of an arm but Meier manages to advance to Dall's back!
Dall tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell!
Dall blocking the ground and pound.

Dall sneaks a leg under to get to half guard.
The fighters are battling for position here. Dall manages to regain full guard. Nice work.

Dall looking for a triangle here. Meier is fighting it but it looks tight! Dall pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Meier is tapping out - this one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:34 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle Choke). Terryn Dall!
