The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Volpicelli swings and misses with a shot to the body
and Axelsson counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Volpicelli misses with a body shot.
Axelsson lands a jab to the nose.
Volpicelli drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Axelsson is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Axelsson keeping moving, preventing Volpicelli from controlling successfully.
Axelsson controls Volpicelli momentarily but Volpicelli frees himself.
Axelsson has his hands on Volpicelli's head, controlling the position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Axelsson is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Volpicelli frees his head nicely. Oh but Axelsson has switched to an armbar! Volpicelli is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
