The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Putin fails with the takedown
and Rugowski cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Putin closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Putin with a poor takedown
and Rugowski connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Putin throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Rugowski's waist but Rugowski gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Putin off to one side.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Fedor Putin. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Rugowski lands an uppercut out of nowhere! Putin falls backwards - clearly groggy! Rugowski dives in and finishes the fight with more strikes for a TKO finish!
