Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mozer Coimbra (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Antonio Evans (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Mozer Coimbra!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Thiago Cunha, Luis Engracia and Leandro Rodrigues.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Evans takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Coimbra swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Evans wants to counter the offense by Coimbra and move into the clinch position.
Coimbra moves into the clinch successfully.
Evans jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Coimbra walks away with a smile on his face. Evans gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Evans drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Evans stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Coimbra swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Evans stays in close to Coimbra's body and controls the position.
Evans tries to stand but Coimbra is controlling from the bottom.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Coimbra goes for a double leg but Evans avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Evans continues to drive forward.
Evans fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Coimbra is out of range.
Coimbra shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Evans counters by moving into the clinch.
Coimbra tries to break free but Evans pushes him back against the cage.
Evans escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Evans closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Evans keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Coimbra's efforts to push away.

The fighters are working up against the cage. Coimbra manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Evans throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Coimbra.
The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky.
Coimbra tries to keep at a distance but Evans has taken the fight into the clinch.
Evans drops down looking for an ankle pick but Coimbra pulls his leg out and moves away.
Evans shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Coimbra has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Evans is on him like a limpet, forcing Coimbra back against the cage.

That was a close round but I would say that Mozer Coimbra will probably get the nod.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Evans can do anything to dispel that myth.

Coimbra bucks up and tries to throw Evans off but instead Evans has got his back!

Well Coimbra has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
