The judges for this bout are Valeri Chadov, Aleksei Zolotukhin and Ivan Kurochkin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
MacManus misses with a shot to the body
and OQuinn counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
OQuinn punishes MacManus's body with a nice straight punch.
OQuinn throws a right and a left that MacManus avoids nicely.
An attempted straight right counter from MacManus misses the target.
MacManus tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. OQuinn manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

MacManus throws a push kick but OQuinn slaps the foot to one side.
OQuinn bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of MacManus's head.
MacManus avoids the body shot from OQuinn.
MacManus goes for a double leg but OQuinn avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as OQuinn continues to drive forward.
OQuinn is clearly trying to counter these attacks from MacManus with a body shot.

MacManus closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into OQuinn's guard.
MacManus won't allow OQuinn to sweep him here.
MacManus definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

MacManus's corner is telling him to maintain position.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if OQuinn can do anything to dispel that myth.

OQuinn really doesn't want to stay on the ground with MacManus. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
