Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, King Bo!
The judges for this bout are Vladimir Khabensky, Ivan Kurochkin and Igor Prikhodko.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bo throws a right hand that Kulik ducks under and follows up with a left that Kulik also avoids with ease.
Kulik moves in looking to clinch but Bo pushes him off.
Kulik tries for a takedown but Bo circles away easily

and Bo counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Bo.

Bo gets underhooks to prevent Kulik's takedown attempt.
Bo lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Kulik has a couple of punches blocked by Bo.
Kulik tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Bo is pushing Kulik up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Kulik can't find room to land a body shot as Bo controls the action.
Bo lands with a short shot to the head.
A bit of stalling here from Bo.

Bo breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Kulik takes a shot to the body in his stride.

Bo lands a big uppercut and Kulik crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Kulik looks OK. Bo waves Kulik back to his feet!

Kulik is rocked!

It looks like Dmitry Kulik has been cut.
Kulik is breathing heavily.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Bo misses with a body shot.
Bo grits his teeth and throws a big right-left combo! Kulik takes both shots clean on the chin and is out cold! Bo cracks him once more on his way down, as the crowd goes wild! They enjoyed that one!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:53 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). King Bo!
King Bo is the new super heavyweight champion!
After winning the bout, King Bo thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
