Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Robbery connects with the punch.
Robbery looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Robbery scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Gold throws out a loose jab but Robbery uses good head movement to avoid it.
Robbery takes a swing at Gold's ribcage but misses.
Robbery fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Gold checks it well.
Robbery chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Gold can pounce on him.
Robbery moves away from the strike by Gold.
Robbery walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Gold throws a looping overhand right but Robbery ducks down to avoid it.

As Robbery looks to move away, Gold throws a big counter combo but Robbery just gets out of the way.
Robbery avoids a punch combination nicely.
Robbery tries to clinch but Gold moves out of range.
Gold swings for the body but Robbery moves out of range.

Some bone on bone action there as Robbery checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Robbery now looks to counter with a shot at the body.
Gold ducks right into an uppercut from Robbery.

Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Robbery.

and Gold counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
The referee asks Robbery politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Robbery prefers to stall for the moment though.
Gold tries to buck Robbery off but Robbery is having none of it.

We've been hearing good reports from Gold's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

Robbery tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Gold manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Gold throws a sloppy head kick and Robbery moves out of range easily.
Robbery looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Gold is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Robbery.
Robbery connects with a looping right hand.

Gold throws a hook to the side of Robbery's head but Robbery sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Robbery is starting to get sloppy and is letting his hands down. Gold just took advantage and landed a stinging jab. Oh! Now a right hook, right on the button! Robbery has gone limp and this one is over!
