Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Rupert Pink!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Filippo Dallara!
The judges for this bout are John Roberts, John Kavanagh and Reed Andrews.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pink lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
A clash of legs there as Pink blocks the low kick.

and Dallara counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Pink is refusing to be controlled, as Dallara sits in half guard.

Dallara is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Pink is just riding it out for now. Dallara eventually gives up the hold.
Dallara is looking to advance position but Pink won't allow it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Dallara is working for a submission of some sort.

Pink is looking for a sweep. Dallara is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Dallara is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Dallara is working for a kimura but Pink is defending it quite comfortably.

Dallara moves into full mount! Pink won't be happy about that!

Pink tries to hold on but Dallara pushes him away.

Dallara escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Pink gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Dallara is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Pink's corner calls for a 1-2. Pink obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Pink throws a nice looking combination but Dallara bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Dallara looks like he wanted to counter with a high kick but didn't throw it.

Dallara is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch.
Pink looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Rupert Pink seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Dallara is looking to land body kicks.
Pink was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Dallara swings for the body but Pink moves out of range.
Pink lands a nice looking body shot.
Pink scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Dallara has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.

Pink stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Pink lands with an overhand left.


Dallara is rocked!
Rupert Pink is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Pink moves out of range of the body kick.
It looked like Pink wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Dallara takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Rupert Pink is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Dallara gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Pink.

Dallara is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Dallara seems to have recovered his senses.

Pink cracks Dallara with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Dallara looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Pink finish him?
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Dallara walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Dallara gets clipped by a big right hand and goes down spinning to the canvas! Pink gets the back mount and begins to drop bombs on his rocked foe! Dallara is too out of it to defend against the strikes and the referee jumps in to save him from the beatdown!
