Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Milo Ferraro!
The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Ian Loll and Yves DeLean.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ferraro takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Hanson scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.

Hanson is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Ferraro's half guard.
Ferraro is trying to maintain the position but Hanson is very close to passing his half guard.

Hanson is looking for a kimura here.
Ferraro is trying to get back to full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Hanson ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Hanson no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Ferraro accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Ferraro postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Hanson is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Ferraro, into his guard.

Ferraro is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Hanson's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Hanson's back!

Milo Ferraro showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Hanson really is built like a bowling ball. I wonder if he'd roll if you pushed him down a hill...
Ferraro advances position into side control!
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Hanson wants to get back to his feet.
Ferraro is looking to take a break and control but Hanson is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Ferraro has an Americana. Hanson didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Ferraro is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Ferraro hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
