Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Kay Ector (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and The Hound (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ector comes to the cage accompanied by Monster!. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

14 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, The Hound!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Jack Bonds and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hound takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Ector throws a series of punches but Hound avoids them all with ease.
Ector swings widly with a right hand
and Hound counters with a nice uppercut.
Hound has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Hound closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Hound lands a left hand that snaps the head of Ector backwards.
Hound lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Ector backwards.
Ector tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Hound fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
The referee is keeping an eye on Hound - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Hound.
Hound struggles to land a body shot inside as Ector controls his hands.

It looks like The Hound has been cut.

Hound is trying to trip Ector. He has hold of a leg but Ector is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Hound persists though and gets the takedown into guard.

Ector is scooting his butt against the cage and has managed to get back to his feet. Hound presses him back against the cage, presumably looking to take the fight back to the mat.

Hound swings wildly with an uppercut but Ector uses good head movement to avoid it.

Ector is fighting off a takedown attempt but Hound is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Ector to the mat. Ector regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
Ector is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Hound stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Ector swivels though and keeps the full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Ector can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Hound controls the pace.
Hound keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Ector's head.

Hound seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Ector does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

That's time! Ector's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!
Ector throws a nice looking combination but Hound bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Ector, as that shot connected.

That has opened up The Hound's cut even more.
Ector is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Hound.
Ector tests Hound's chin there with a solid looking shot.
The fighters circling - Ector throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
A little jabbing left from Hound on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Ector displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Hound.

Hound shoots for a double leg takedown but Ector sprawls well. He's pushed Hound's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Hound shoots in for a double leg but Ector sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Ector pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Hound tries to score a power double leg takedown but Ector sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Hound somewhat.
Ector punishes Hound's body with a nice straight punch.
Hound has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Ector finds it's way round the side to connect with Hound's head.
Ector cracks Hound with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
The cut above The Hound's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Hound looks up at the clock. Bad move! Ector lands a right hand from hell, dropping Hound. Ector pounces and finishes the fight with a flurry of punches and elbows.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:58 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Kay Ector!
Kay Ector gave a mention to On Tap (160Q & Laundry) in his post fight interview. That will please them (and hopefully generate some sales).
