And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kusuma misses with a takedown attempt
and Ljos connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Ljos dodges the punch combination from Kusuma.

Kusuma shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Ljos napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Kusuma happy to just control the position for now.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
An elbow from Kusuma crashes against the mat.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
The referee tells the fighters to keep busy.
Kusuma creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots.

Kusuma in side control, just content to control the action for now.
Ljos can't do much from the bottom here.

Kusuma has hold of Ljos's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Ljos seems comfortable defending it but Kusuma has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Ljos is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Ljos is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Kusuma couldn't care less - he's delighted!
