Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Earnest Abe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sami Hyypia (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Abe comes to the cage accompanied by Uncle Sam Goddamn. The crowd seem to be enjoying Hyypia's choice of entrance music: Al Bowlly - Hang out the stars in Indiana. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Daniel Franklin and Frank Dennis.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Abe rushes Hyypia and presses him up against the cage.
Abe misses with a hook from the clinch.
Hyypia misses with a punch to the body.

Hyypia breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Abe closes the distance and clinches.

and Hyypia counters with a lovely straight right hand!
A jab from Hyypia misses.

Abe drives through and clinches with Hyypia against the cage.

Abe takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Abe cracks Hyypia with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

It looks like Sami Hyypia has been cut.
Abe fails in his attempt to clinch.
Hyypia has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Hyypia there as he acknowledges the shot.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Hyypia works Abe's body with a nice hook.

The fight moves into the clinch position.

The crowd are getting on Hyypia's back here. They're not happy about his lack of aggression in the clinch.

Hyypia is trying to break the clinch but Abe has him pressed against the cage.

Abe tries to clinch there but Hyypia circles away.
Hyypia misses with a hook.
and Abe counters with a massive uppercut that badly hurts Hyypia! He's just covering up as Abe starts to tee off till the referee steps in and stops the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:29 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Earnest Abe!
Earnest Abe decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
