Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Eusebio Duncan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dillan Ryder (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Eusebio Duncan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Dillan Ryder!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, and Frank Antenori.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Duncan fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

Ryder closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Duncan's guard.
Duncan is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Duncan is scooting his butt against the cage and has managed to get back to his feet. Ryder presses him back against the cage, presumably looking to take the fight back to the mat.
Duncan tries to break the clinch but Ryder is controlling the position.

Duncan breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Duncan shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Ryder manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Ryder has his feet on Duncan's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Ryder lands a takedown into guard.
Duncan wants to stand up but Ryder is controlling him.
Duncan might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Ryder controls the pace of the fight for a moment.

Ryder gets to his feet. Duncan looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Duncan could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Ryder decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Ryder prevents Duncan from improving his position.

Duncan manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. Ryder keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage.

Duncan has Ryder pressed against the cage, preventing Ryder from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Ryder misses with a hook to the ribs.

Ryder manages to break the clinch.

Ryder changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Duncan looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Duncan bucks up and manages to escape back to his feet!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Ryder gets a takedown into half guard.
Duncan works his way to full guard. Good work.
Duncan wants to get back to his feet but Ryder is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Ryder drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Ryder jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Duncan uses the cage to get back to his feet.
Ryder defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Duncan.
Duncan changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Ryder tries to avoid it but Duncan manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Ryder to the ground. Ryder escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Eusebio Duncan. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Ryder darts in and clinches Duncan up against the cage.
Duncan tries to circle away but Ryder has him pinned against the cage.
Ryder tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Duncan avoids it.

Duncan manages to break the clinch.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Duncan.

Ryder keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Ryder is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Ryder fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Duncan, pushing him back against the cage.

Ryder pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Ryder has closed the distance and engaged Duncan in a clinch.
Duncan has had enough of the clinch but Ryder keeps him there for the moment.

Duncan escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Duncan fails with a takedown attempt.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Dillan Ryder will probably get the nod.
That's time! Duncan's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.



Duncan drives through with a takedown into Ryder's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
Duncan throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Ryder works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Ryder looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Duncan postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Duncan accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Dillan Ryder seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Ryder shoots in and gets a takedown into Duncan's guard.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Duncan lands some strikes from the bottom.
Ryder prevents Duncan from getting back to his feet.

Duncan pushes Ryder off and gets back to his feet.
Duncan goes for a double leg but Ryder avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Ryder continues to drive forward.

Ryder has Duncan up against the cage in a clinch.

Ryder gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Duncan regains guard.
Duncan is looking to stand up but Ryder isn't so interested in that idea.

And that's the end of the fight!
I would just about give that final round to Dillan Ryder.
I think Ryder has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
