Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between German Charles (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Victor Tyson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Charles looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.

It looks like German Charles has been cut.
Tyson misses with a wild combination.
Tyson throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Charles stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Tyson looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.

Charles manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. Tyson keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Tyson is trying to trip Charles. He has hold of a leg but Charles is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Tyson persists though and gets the takedown into guard.
Tyson stops Charles from standing up.
Charles could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Tyson tries to free his leg and advance position but Charles is retaining full guard.

Tyson throws an elbow that misses. Charles uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Tyson 's guard. Nice move by Charles!

Charles is looking to work some ground and pound but Tyson has wrist control.
Tyson is looking to stand up but Charles isn't so interested in that idea.
Tyson pulls Charles in close to prevent any damage.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.

Tyson has Charles up against the cage in a clinch.

Tyson jumps into guard, dragging Charles to the mat.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Tyson has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Charles can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

The fighters are battling for position here. Tyson manages to regain full guard. Nice work.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Tyson is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Tyson has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.

Tyson closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Charles's guard.

Tyson gets to his feet - Charles follows without any prompting.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Tyson .
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Tyson is looking for a takedown. Wow, that's a brutal slam - Charles is in big trouble! Tyson is landing strikes from the mount and this one is all over! The ref jumps in to save a confused looking Charles. Poor guy.
