Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Deait Shaw (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kumanepu Joluyato (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Shaw gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Joluyato to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Joluyato wants to pass the guard but Shaw is keeping the position.

Joluyato stands up and waves to Shaw to follow him.
Joluyato swings for the body but Shaw moves out of range.

Joluyato drives through and clinches with Shaw against the cage.

Joluyato escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Oooooh!!! Joluyato has knocked Shaw down with a huge combo! Joluyato steps away and waves a wobbly Shaw back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

It looks like Deait Shaw has been cut.
Shaw looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Joluyato shoots in looking for a takedown. Shaw tries to sprawl out of it but Joluyato keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Shaw manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Deait Shaw has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kumanepu Joluyato.
Joluyato fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

Shaw tries to keep at a distance but Joluyato has taken the fight into the clinch.
Joluyato tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Shaw just stands there and leans against the cage.

Joluyato escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Shaw shoots in for a double leg but Joluyato sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Shaw tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Joluyato manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Joluyato throws a nice looking combination but Shaw bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Joluyato can do anything to dispel that myth.
Shaw is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.

Joluyato looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Shaw puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.
Shaw winds up and cracks Joluyato with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Joluyato is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Shaw scores with a couple of nice shots.

Joluyato is rocked!
Shaw lands a big elbow - Joluyato is out of it! He's waving his arms around but his eyes are closed and he's not intelligently defending himself - the ref has no choice but to jump in and stop the fight! This one is in the books! A TKO win for Shaw!
