PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Undertaker Unknown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gunnar Tromp (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tromp has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. Gunnar Tromp will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Unknown doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Tromp counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

Unknown is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Unknown drops back looking for a leg! Tromp is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Tromp manages to kick Unknown off! Unknown jumps back into Tromp's guard.

Unknown stands and steps away. Tromp gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

No joy there for Tromp, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
It looked like Unknown was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
