The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Green drives through and clinches with Morales against the cage.
Morales has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Green avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Morales keeps control of Green as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Green wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Morales lands a knee to the body.

Green pulls guard effortlessly.
Morales has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Morales lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
Morales knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Green on the ground.

Morales avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Green wants to sweep but no luck.

Green is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.

Green escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Green's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Green throws a right and a left that Morales avoids nicely.

Despite the aggression on Green's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
Green throws a series of punches but Morales avoids them all with ease.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Green throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Green tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Morales swivels and escapes.
Reyes Morales has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Paul Green.

Morales throws a head kick that misses.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Morales is defended easily by Green.
Morales throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Green breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Morales gets caught by a brutal right hook which buckles his knees! Morales tries to backpedal with his spaghettilegs but Green is headhunting and goes for the kill. A jab and a right hook connect and Morales buckles badly as his eyes roll back. The referee steps in and saves Morales!! Morales is complaining but he was clearly out on his feet. Green throws his mouthpiece into the crowd. Mmmm spit-tastic.
