The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Garbrandt shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Souza pinned against the cage. Souza gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Souza looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.

Souza tries to score a body lock takedown but Garbrandt shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Souza jumps guard but Garbrandt turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.

Souza stuffs the takedown attempt from Garbrandt. Garbrandt gets slowly back to his feet.

Garbrandt lands a big right hook! Souza looks hurt but is still standing! Garbrandt lands a left jab and another right hook! This time Souza falls down and Garbrandt dives in with a huge hammer fist! Souza's eyes roll back! The referee calls for the bell and Garbrandt runs up the cage to celebrate with his fans!
