Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Matt Hughes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jose Correa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Correa lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Hughes circles away quickly and effectively.
Correa lands with a nice combination. Hughes backs away looking to recover.
Correa misses with a wild combination.

Correa throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Hughes counters with a lovely straight right hand!

Correa takes the fight into the clinch.

Hughes's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Correa creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Correa pushes Hughes against the cage. Correa is working some dirty boxing. Correa pushes off with a quick right hook! Hughes goes down! Hughes tries to stand but stumbles back to his kness! Correa moves in to finish and the ref steps in to prevent any more damage!
