Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Katsu Laoka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ava Noel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Laoka comes to the cage accompanied by The Bell Tolls. Noel has chosen A Moment as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Laoka takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Laoka throws a leg kick but Noel moved away.
Laoka cracks the inside of Noel's front leg.
Laoka gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Noel.
Noel defending well as Laoka loads up on a big left hand.
Noel throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Laoka looks to throw the jab but Noel is out of range.
Noel tries to clinch but Laoka moves out of range.
Laoka was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
A looping hook to the body misses from Noel. Laoka does a little dance to reset his feet.

Laoka closes the distance and clinches.
Laoka looking to throw knees to the head but Noel is blocking nicely.

Laoka fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Noel.

Laoka tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Laoka swings for the body but Noel moves out of range.
Laoka connects with a solid leg kick.

Noel throws a low kick, looking for Laoka's leg but Laoka calmly moves out of range.
Laoka fires out a quick counter leg kick but Noel just manages to avoid it.
Noel throws the left hand but Laoka avoids the punch easily.

and Noel connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Laoka takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Laoka has been working on his boxing with his coaches at LOD: Strike Zone KT in the buildup to the fight.

Noel lands a left and a right that send Laoka crashing to the mat, dazed. Noel thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Laoka is rocked!
Ava Noel seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Noel stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Laoka.
Oh Laoka is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Laoka moves into range and clinches up with Noel.
Laoka seems to have got his legs back now.
Laoka lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!

Noel breaks from the clinch.
Laoka thumps Noel with a low kick.

Laoka with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Noel to score with a decent uppercut.
Noel looks for the body kick but Laoka saw that one coming.
Laoka ducks right into an uppercut from Noel.
Laoka works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Noel takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Noel lands a lovely overhand right.

Noel throws a right and a left that Laoka avoids nicely.
Laoka lands a head shot.
Laoka avoids a punch combination nicely.
Laoka fires out a quick counter leg kick but Noel just manages to avoid it.
Noel throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Laoka stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Laoka lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.

Noel breaks the clinch.
Laoka loads up on a big right hand but Noel slips the punch.

Laoka throws a combination. Noel tries to block but a couple of punches get through.

Noel lands with a right hand.
Noel throws a hook but Laoka avoids it easily.
Laoka was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Noel throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
As Noel backs away, Laoka returns fire with a leg kick that just misses.
Noel on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Laoka tries to clinch there but Noel circles away.
A decent looking cross lands there for Laoka.
Noel tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Laoka counters with a nice uppercut.
Laoka's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Noel connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Laoka scrambles back to his feet.
Laoka throws a quick inside leg kick.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Noel drops Laoka with a beautiful combination! Laoka stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Noel is looking for the KO!
Noel connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
A head kick misses from Noel.
Noel throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Laoka sees it coming and avoids it easily.
It looked like Laoka wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Ava Noel dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Noel thows a left - swing and a miss!
Noel tries to close the distance and clinch up but Laoka swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Laoka walks into a left hand.
Sloppy strikes from Noel. Those never looked like landing.
Laoka throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Noel throws an overhand right that lands on Laoka's shoulder, as Laoka tries to avoid the shot.
Noel sizes up Laoka with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
A slapping leg kick lands for Laoka.
Laoka connects with a right hand. Noel shakes it off.
Noel walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Noel misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Laoka.
Noel has been working his punching technique in the buildup to the fight and it appears to be paying off.
Noel lands with a cross.
Noel lands a big right hand and follows it up with an uppercut. Oh and another big punch and a knee - Laoka can't take much more of this! Another big shot to the jaw from Noel and Laoka drops to the floor. Beaten and bloodied - he had enough there. A vicious beatdown by Noel.
