Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jango Fett (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Josh Miller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jango Fett could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Josh Miller's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 29 - 18 - 3, fighting out of Tokyo, Jango Fett!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 13 - 1, fighting out of St Petersburg, Josh Miller!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Alan Glass and Robert Twigg.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Miller smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.

Miller gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Fett with a flurry of punches that miss.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Fett accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Miller escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Fett gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

We've been hearing good reports from Fett's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

Miller is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Fett wants to stand and escape but Miller is having none of it.

Fett is pushing Miller's head away, looking to escape. Miller manages to hold on to the position though.
Fett trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.
Miller is looking to take a break and control but Fett is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Miller might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Fett haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
Fett tries to get back to his feet but has found himself mounted instead. Damn, that's gotta suck.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Fett is wriggling around here but as he tries to escape, Miller has taken his back.

A close round but Josh Miller will probably get the nod.

Fett throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.

Fett goes for a takedown in the clinch but Miller prevents it.

Jango Fett overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Miller wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Jango Fett.

After the fight, Jango Fett was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
