Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Charlie Doyle !
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jordan Gatt!
The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, Russell Pearce and Lou da Vinci.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Gatt.
Gatt closes this distance looking for a takedown but Doyle circles away.
Doyle stalks Gatt and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Gatt's face. Gatt staggers backwards, shaken.
Gatt gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Doyle escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Doyle wants to slow Gatt down by chopping away at his legs.
Gatt drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Doyle wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!
Doyle sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Doyle wants to get back to his feet.
Gatt seems to be looking for submissions.
Gatt is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Doyle defends it well.

Doyle is trying to stand back up but Gatt is controlling him
Doyle wants to control but Gatt is keeping busy.

Doyle has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage.
Doyle tries to push off, looking to stand up, but Gatt manages to move to mount!
Doyle is in a horrible position here. Gatt smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Gatt with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
BOOM! Gatt connects with a massive shot to the dome!

Doyle is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Gatt looking to secure an arm triangle but Doyle defends it well.
Gatt swings around for an armbar and he's got it! Wow, that came out of nowhere! What a finish!
