The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Slaughter throws a lazy right hand but Campion sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Campion feints the counter takedown.
Slaughter connects with the punch.
Campion fails with a takedown attempt.

Campion looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Slaughter!
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Campion wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Slaughter, who protects the arm well.
