Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Felipe Chapman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rocky Wester (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Felipe Chapman!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Rocky Wester!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Don Winkell and Timothy Bukovac.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chapman works over Wester's head and body with a nice combination.
Wester shoots in looking for a takedown. Chapman tries to sprawl out of it but Wester keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Chapman manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Chapman defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Wester.
Chapman swinging wildly here.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Wester crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Chapman - the referee stops the clock and Wester gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Chapman. Wester manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Chapman stuffs the takedown attempt from Wester. Wester gets slowly back to his feet.
Felipe Chapman has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rocky Wester.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Wester tries a head kick but it misses.
Chapman went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.

and Chapman takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

Wester tries to pull guard but Chapman forces him back to his feet, against the cage.

and Wester counters with a left and a right that stings Chapman.
Wester shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

Chapman breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Wester fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Chapman, pushing him back against the cage.
Wester is trying to pull guard but Chapman has him pressed against the cage.
Chapman tries to pull guard but Wester forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
Chapman jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Wester walks away with a smile on his face. Chapman gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Wester darts in looking for a takedown but Chapman gets double underhooks and turns Wester into the cage.
Wester fails to land the takedown.
Chapman is looking for a counter combo.
Wester looks winded!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Wester has closed the distance and engaged Chapman in a clinch.
Wester is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Chapman pulls him back up using the underhooks.

That was a close round but I would say that Felipe Chapman will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Wester dives in and grabs Chapman's left leg, looking for a takedown. Chapman pushes down on Wester's head and hops out.

Chapman throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Chapman moves in looking to clinch but Wester pushes him off.
Wester tries to score a power double leg takedown but Chapman sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Wester somewhat.

Wester drives through and clinches with Chapman against the cage.

Wester tries a knee to the head but he's missed.

Chapman has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Wester uses from the top position.
Chapman looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Wester puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.

Chapman pushes Wester off looking to stand but Wester dives back in and keeps control.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Wester throws some wild stikes that Chapman manages to avoid easily.
Wester throwing strikes here but Chapman is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Chapman manages to regain half guard. Good work.
Wester frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Chapman blocking the ground and pound.

Chapman defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Wester.
Rocky Wester has got the better of the ground game so far.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Chapman is in all sorts of trouble here.

Rocky Wester comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Chapman has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
