Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between JD Wildstein (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lukas Hanak (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wildstein's entrance music is Bring It On. A fine choice. Hanak comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Alien Ant Farm - Smooth Criminal kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! This should be a great matchup!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 42 - 18 - 3, fighting out of London, JD Wildstein!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 15 - 7 - 1, fighting out of Tokyo, Lukas Hanak!
The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Steven Brown and James Ackerman.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck for Hanak with that takedown attempt.
Hanak throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Wildstein will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Wildstein lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Hanak has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Hanak and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Wildstein throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Wildstein throws a leg kick but Hanak sees it coming and moves out of range.
Wildstein on the wrong end of a nice jab.
Nice sprawl there from Wildstein as Hanak shoots in.
Hanak moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Hanak fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Wildstein looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Wildstein looks to throw the jab but Hanak is out of range.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Hanak misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Wildstein counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Wildstein uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Hanak.

Wildstein lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Wildstein throws a series of punches but Hanak moves out of range.

Hanak tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
Wildstein throws out a powerful jab.

Wildstein misses with a wild combination.
Hanak dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Wildstein. That did some damage!
Hanak throws a hook to the side of Wildstein's head but Wildstein sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Hanak does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

Hanak swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Wildstein.
Wildstein has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Wildstein cracks Hanak with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.

Hanak throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Hanak tries to bum rush Wildstein with a series of wild strikes but Wildstein uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Wildstein takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

Hanak shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Wildstein's guard.
Hanak throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Wildstein works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

That was a close second round but I would say that JD Wildstein will probably get the nod.
