Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Oleg Kravichenko!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Robert Tatli!
The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Roosa Järviläinen and Matti Vanhoillinen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice uppercut there from Kravichenko.
No joy there for Tatli, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
It looked like Kravichenko wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Tatli misses with a lunging right hand
and Kravichenko counters with a left to the body.
Tatli throws a lazy right hand but Kravichenko sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
A counter left hand to the body from Kravichenko misses its target.
Robert Tatli seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kravichenko avoids the body shot from Tatli.
Tatli lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Tatli buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Tatli lands a jab-cross combination.
Tatli swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Kravichenko counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
We've been told by Kravichenko's head coaches at Netherlands Top Team & KT that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Tatli throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Kravichenko counters with a lovely shot to the body.
This has been an exciting period of action!

and Kravichenko counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Tatli swings widly with a right hand
and Kravichenko counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.

and Kravichenko counters with a lovely straight right hand!

Kravichenko clobbers Tatli with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Kravichenko stuns Tatli with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.

and Kravichenko counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Tatli throws a leg kick but Kravichenko sees it coming and moves out of range.

Kravichenko lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

and Kravichenko counters with a straight right hand.
Tatli takes a body punch but keeps moving.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Tatli moves forwards but Kravichenko connects with a nice, crisp jab.

Tatli sizes up Kravichenko with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.

Kravichenko is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.

and Kravichenko cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Tatli swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
An attempted straight right counter from Kravichenko misses the target.

letting Kravichenko counter with a right hand.

and Kravichenko counters with a nice uppercut.
Tatli gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Good work by Kravichenko as he checks the leg kick.
Tatli throws a body kick that misses
and Kravichenko counters with a nice body shot.
Kravichenko cracks Tatli with a good jab.
Tatli misses with a body punch
and Kravichenko counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Kravichenko throws a good cross that connects.
Tatli lands with a kick to the temple. Kravichenko shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"


It looks like Oleg Kravichenko has been cut.

Tatli throws a lazy uppercut
and Kravichenko cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Tatli throws a right hand that misses
and Kravichenko counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

Tatli is rocked!
Kravichenko jabs Tatli to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Tatli throws a right hand that misses
and Kravichenko cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Tatli is still on wobbly legs! Can Kravichenko finish him?
Tatli rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Kravichenko counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Kravichenko uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Tatli has time to react.
Kravichenko takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Kravichenko bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Tatli's head backwards.
Kravichenko feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Tatlis jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Tatli takes one to the side of the head.
Kravichenko darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
A jab from Kravichenko finds it's way through Tatli's defenses.
Kravichenko closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Tatli! Kravichenko dives in looking to finish! Tatli is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Oleg Kravichenko!
During a confident post fight interview, Oleg Kravichenko thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
