Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hung Kerr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Breeze (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hung Kerr has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Hung Kerr!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Jack Breeze!
The judges for this bout are Josh West, Jeff Smith and Roger Salmon.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kerr leaves Breeze with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Breeze drives through and clinches with Kerr against the cage.
Breeze tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Kerr just stands there and leans against the cage.
Kerr wants to break the clinch but can't.
Kerr is trying to pull guard but Breeze has him pressed against the cage.
Breeze taking a breather.
Kerr managing to block the knees to the body from Breeze.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
The referee is keeping an eye on Breeze - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.
Kerr is trying to break the clinch but Breeze is controlling him.

It looks like Hung Kerr has been cut.
Kerr will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Breeze up against the cage.

Kerr swings for the body but Breeze moves out of range.
Breeze is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch.

Breeze motions for Kerr to come forward. Breeze throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.

Kerr shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Kerr showed some decent athleticism there.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Breeze wants to improve his position but Kerr is controlling well.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Breeze changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Kerr tries to avoid it but Breeze manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Kerr to the ground. Kerr escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Breeze rushes Kerr and presses him up against the cage.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Kerr on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.

Kerr breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Breeze tries to clinch there but Kerr circles away.
Kerr fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Kerr avoiding damage.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
The referee calls for Kerr to work.
Kerr gets a warning from the ref for wasting time.
Breeze gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Kerr.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Hung Kerr will probably get the nod.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.


Kerr stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Kerr wants it to stay on the feet.
Breeze has a takedown stuffed.
Kerr throws a right and a left that Breeze avoids nicely.
Breeze shoots in for a takedown but Kerr shows good takedown defense.

Breeze is trying to drag Kerr to the mat but Kerr just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
