The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Arroyo throws a low kick, looking for Daley's leg but Daley calmly moves out of range.
Arroyo has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Daley is landing a low percentage of strikes.
Nice defenses there by Arroyo.
Arroyo takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Arroyo lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Daley circles away quickly and effectively.
Daley misses with a straight right.
A looping hook to the body misses from Arroyo. Daley does a little dance to reset his feet.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Arroyo shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Daley as he jumps to the side.

Daley lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Daley, as that shot connected.
Denton Daley seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Arroyo swinging wildly here.

Arroyo slips a jab from Daley.
Daley throws a jab but it's blocked by Arroyo.
Daley throws out a loose jab but Arroyo uses good head movement to avoid it.
Daley slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.

Daley sends Arroyo crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Daley is motioning to the referee to let Arroyo up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
Arroyo is rocked!

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Daley lands an uppercut, right on the button! Arroyo tumbles backwards into the cage, staring vacantly into space! He's got no idea where he is, who he is or what day it is... Poor guy.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:07 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Denton Daley!
Our winner, Denton Daley, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
