PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Roman Kvasov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Viktor Gragula (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kvasov kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Diskoteka avaria-Nebo. The key to victory for Roman Kvasov has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 40 - 43 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Roman Kvasov!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 21 - 19 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Viktor Gragula!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Frank Dennis and Stewart Dunkirk.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gragula takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Gragula avoids the head kick by Kvasov.

Kvasov has taken the fight to the clinch.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Gragula has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Gragula wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

so Gragula counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.

Kvasov drops Gragula with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Gragula! Kvasov dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!

Roman Kvasov really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Sin City Allstars logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
Viktor Gragula spoke after the fight, saying 'I hate werewolves'.
