Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ric Flores (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Arshnoor Singh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Flores kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Napalm & Erruption- In San Francisco. Singh comes into a darkened arena with his song building. 2Pac - Hit 'Em Up kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Arshnoor Singh has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Ric Flores's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 20 - 20 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ric Flores!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 39 - 20 - 3, fighting out of Las Vegas, Arshnoor Singh!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Gwen Towbar and Wesley Smith.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Flores pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Singh throws a shot from downtown. Flores moves away and avoids it.
Flores feinted there with a counter leg kick.
Singh lands with a nice combination. Flores backs away looking to recover.


It looks like Ric Flores has been cut.
Flores bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Singh looks to land a right hand but Flores moved out of range.
Singh fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Flores has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Flores scores with a head kick.


It looks like Arshnoor Singh has been cut.
Flores has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Mist Of Pandaria in the buildup to the fight.
Singh throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Flores lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.

Flores fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Singh is out of range.
Flores throws a sloppy head kick and Singh moves out of range easily.
Arshnoor Singh seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Flores throws a low kick but it's checked well by Singh.
A looping hook to the body misses from Singh. Flores does a little dance to reset his feet.

Singh is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Flores checks a leg kick.
Flores pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Flores throws a front kick aimed at Singh's knee but Singh avoids it well.
Singh throws a wild body kick that Flores sees coming a mile off.

Flores throws a sloppy head kick and Singh moves out of range easily.
Singh now looks to counter with a shot at the body.
Singh tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Flores was well out of range. Poor timing from Singh.
A big right from Singh misses.
Flores throws a head kick that misses.
Flores looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Singh is fending him off so far but Flores persists. Nope, Singh circles away and we're back to standing.
Flores moves away from the strike by Singh.
Nice defenses there by Flores.
Singh throws an overhand right that lands on Flores's shoulder, as Flores tries to avoid the shot.
Singh lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Singh uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Flores.
Singh looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Flores throws a shot to the body.
Flores dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Singh. That did some damage!
Singh does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Flores throws a low kick but it's checked well by Singh.
Singh will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Singh closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Singh moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Singh thumps Flores with a low kick.

Flores misses with a hook. Singh ducked under it nicely.

and Flores counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Flores throws a leg kick that misses.
A little jabbing left from Singh on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
A punch combination from Flores misses.
Flores avoids the head kick by Singh.
Singh scores with a hook to the body. Flores takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Singh slips under a jab.
Singh doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter.
Singh takes a kick to the side of the head.
Singh throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Flores sees it coming and avoids it easily.
An attempted straight right counter from Flores misses the target.
Flores dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Singh. That did some damage!

Singh defending well as Flores loads up on a big left hand.
Flores keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Arshnoor Singh will probably get the nod.
Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the ring so we can get back down to business.


Singh pivots, looking for a leg kick but Flores is out of range and Singh settles back down.
Singh misses with a straight right.
Flores swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect.
Singh scoring well with a low kick there.
Singh throws a leg kick which misses Flores's front leg but catches the back leg as Flores tries to avoid it.
Flores throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Flores closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Singh's guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Flores wants to pass the guard but Singh is keeping the position.
Flores working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Flores tries to free his leg and advance position but Singh is retaining full guard.
Flores trying to control the position from guard on top but Singh is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Flores stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Singh swivels though and keeps the full guard.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Singh is pulling down on Flores's head to control his posture.
Flores postures up in Singh's guard and throws a big left but Singh blocks it.
Flores tries to free his leg and advance position but Singh is retaining full guard.

Flores drops back looking for a leg! Singh is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Singh manages to kick Flores off! Flores jumps back into Singh's guard.
Singh wants to stand up but Flores is controlling him.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Flores trying to control but Singh is working from the bottom.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Flores lands a front kick.
Singh misses the shot to the body.
Singh lands with a cross.
Flores gets caught by a brutal right hook which buckles his knees! Flores tries to backpedal with his spaghettilegs but Singh is headhunting and goes for the kill. A jab and a right hook connect and Flores buckles badly as his eyes roll back. The referee steps in and saves Flores!! Flores is complaining but he was clearly out on his feet. Singh throws his mouthpiece into the crowd. Mmmm spit-tastic.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:37 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Arshnoor Singh!
