PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ray Fayth (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Castor Rollins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 32 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Ray Fayth!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 18 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Castor Rollins!
The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Stewart Dunkirk and Gwen Towbar.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Fayth is looking to work his way around to Rollins's back. He needs to be careful though, as he's in danger of losing this dominant position.

Fayth swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Rollins is now in Fayth's guard. A big mistake from Fayth there, giving up the dominant position!

Fayth is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Rollins is aware though and is defending well.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

I would just about give that final round to Castor Rollins.
I think Rollins has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

After the fight, Castor Rollins was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
