Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, David Parker!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Seth Coleman!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Shirou Masuda and Tatsuya Matsuyama.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Parker rushes Coleman and presses him up against the ropes.

Parker escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Parker forces Coleman back against the ropes and clinches.
Parker works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.
Coleman is trying to break the clinch but Parker is controlling him.
Coleman is looking to take this one to the mat.

Parker pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Some wild striking there from Coleman.
Parker throwing a counter right hand but Coleman manages to avoid it.
Coleman looks to land a combination but Parker avoids it well.
Seth Coleman seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Coleman fails with a takedown attempt.
Parker tries to land a leg kick but Coleman saw it coming and moves away.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Coleman looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Parker is looking to counter the offense by Coleman and move into the clinch.

Parker has Coleman pushed against the ropes.

Parker breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Coleman shoots in looking for a takedown but Parker manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Coleman's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Parker definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
David Parker has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Seth Coleman.

Parker rushes Coleman and pushes him back against the ropes in a clinch.

Parker breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Coleman fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

Parker fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Coleman, pushing him back against the ropes.
Parker lands a nice shot to the body.

Parker escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Coleman tries a head kick but it misses.
Parker tries to counter with a takedown but Coleman is quick to defend against it.

Parker shoots in and gets a takedown into Coleman's guard.
Coleman wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Parker manages to pass to side control.
Coleman looks winded!

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Parker is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

Coleman is in trouble now - Parker has advanced to mount!
Parker looking to control and managing it successfully.
Parker prevents Coleman from getting the reversal.

Coleman defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Parker.
Parker sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!
Coleman is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Coleman is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.

Parker throwing strikes here but Coleman is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.
Parker trying to control but Coleman is having none of it.

Parker is standing up out of mount! Strange tactic there - he must really want this one on the feet!
Coleman looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Parker changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.
No joy there for Coleman, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Parker closes the distance and pushes Coleman back into the ropes.
Parker has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Coleman is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Parker pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Parker throws a head kick that misses.
And Coleman tries to counter it with a takedown but Parker pushes his down on his head and steps out.

Parker instigates a clinch.
Coleman looking for a takedown.
Parker dictating the pace here, as the fighters clinch against the ropes.

Parker tightens his grip and picks Coleman up, before dumping him to the ground. Coleman manages to land in guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round.

Parker decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Coleman, up you get!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Coleman fails with an attempt to clinch.

Parker clinches.
Parker will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Coleman up against the ropes.

Parker breaks from the clinch.

Parker has Coleman up against the ropes in a clinch.
Coleman throws a head punch that misses.

Parker breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Parker scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.

Parker tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

David Parker dominated that round.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

and Parker holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.

Coleman is trying to break the clinch but Parker is controlling him.

Parker's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Parker shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Parker was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Coleman really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Parker. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Parker decides to take the fight back to the feet.

Parker has closed the distance and engaged Coleman in a clinch.

Parker pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Parker goes for a double leg but Coleman avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the ropes as Coleman continues to drive forward.
Coleman slips a jab and a cross from Parker.
Coleman misses with a wild combination.
Coleman shoots in for a double leg but Parker sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Coleman shoots in looking for a takedown but Parker manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Coleman's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Coleman throws a series of punches but Parker avoids them all with ease.

Coleman wants to clinch
and Parker counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Parker throws a shot to the body.
Coleman has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Coleman there as he acknowledges the shot.
Coleman swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Parker counters with a straight that turns Coleman's legs to rubber! Parker pushes forward with more strikes and Coleman goes down, battered and bloody! That's a wrap folks!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:24 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). David Parker!
