Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Duncan Waters!
The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Wagner Zegers and Radbod Blank.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Waters tests Gunn's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Gunn takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Waters scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Gunn with a poor takedown
and Waters counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Waters scores with a hook.

Gunn throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Waters was covering up waiting for the punch and Gunn finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Waters wants to stand up but Gunn is controlling him.
Gunn is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.

Waters is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Waters can do anything to dispel that myth.
Gunn takes a little break here. Waters wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well.

Gunn drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Waters uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.

Waters digs a good body shot into Gunn's ribs.
Gunn takes one on the chin but seems OK.

Waters has closed the distance and engaged Gunn in a clinch.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Waters cracks Gunn with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Waters throws a nice looking combination but Gunn bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Waters dips down and scores with a jab to the body.

Gunn takes a jab right on the kisser.

Waters fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Gunn, pushing him back against the cage.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Waters lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
Gunn goes for a takedown in the clinch but Waters prevents it.
Waters lands an uppercut.
Nice body punch from Waters.
A short right hand to the side of the head by Waters.
Waters scores with a nice hook to the head.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Waters lands a body punch in the clinch.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Gunn has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Waters avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Waters scores with an uppercut up the middle.
Waters has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Waters displaying some good clinch control by pressing Gunn up against the cage.

Waters manages to break the clinch.
Gunn goes for a double leg but Waters avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Waters continues to drive forward.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ali Rizgar Gunn. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Waters throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Waters swinging wildly here.
Gunn shoots in and drives through. Waters sprawls well.
Waters lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Waters with a nice cross.
Waters scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.

Waters lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Gunn at a distance.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Waters drops Gunn with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Gunn looks back up at him and smiles so Waters waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.


Gunn is rocked!
Gunn is aggressively charging in as Waters backs up avoiding any damage. Waters tosses out a jab and Gunn runs right into it face first! Gunn is out cold! Waters dropped down on all fours and is barking in Gunn's face like a pit bull in celebration until the ref was finally able to pull him away!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:17 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Duncan Waters!
