Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, Alyssa Summers and Anthony Taglia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
State Jr. thumps Ondahl with a low kick.
State Jr. looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
Ondahl keeping full guard, as State Jr. tries to pass.

State Jr. drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and State Jr. jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
State Jr. wants to pass the guard but Ondahl is keeping the position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
State Jr. trying to control but Ondahl is working from the bottom.

State Jr. swings around for an armbar but Ondahl sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into State Jr.'s guard.
State Jr. wriggles free and stands up.
That kick from State Jr. tenderised Ondahl's leg. Ondahl is trying to keep his angry face on.
State Jr. fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Ondahl looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
State Jr. lands the left hand.
Ondahl gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows State Jr. to score an easy takedown into full guard.
State Jr. stands up over Ondahl, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

State Jr. postures up and lands a big shot to Ondahl's brow.
State Jr. trying to control the position from guard on top but Ondahl is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
State Jr. stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Ondahl swivels though and keeps the full guard.
State Jr. works a leg free and moves into half guard.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
State Jr. is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
State Jr. tries to pass to full mount but Ondahl defends it.

State Jr. is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Ondahl defends it well.

State Jr. fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Ondahl manages to avoid it.

Ondahl shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

Ondahl has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from State Jr. finds it's way round the side to connect with Ondahl's head.
State Jr. shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Ondahl pinned against the cage. Ondahl gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Ondahl on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.

Ondahl is posturing up here but State Jr. has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Ondahl tries to roll out but it's too tight and Ondahl has to tap! Slick submission there by State Jr.!
