Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gary Aims (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Odin Thorsen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Aims gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Aims throws a jab when Thorsen was well out of range.
Thorsen looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Thorsen cracks Aims with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Aims goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

Aims definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

Thorsen sends Aims crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Thorsen is motioning to the referee to let Aims up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

Thorsen has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.
Aims takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Aims throws an overhand right that lands on Thorsen's shoulder, as Thorsen tries to avoid the shot.
Thorsen might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.

Thorsen lands a big uppercut and Aims crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Aims looks OK. Thorsen waves Aims back to his feet!

The fighters circle momentarily. Thorsen darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

Aims fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Thorsen manages to avoid it.
Thorsen's corner calls for a 1-2. Thorsen obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.

Thorsen drops Aims with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Aims looks back up at him and smiles so Thorsen waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Aims throws a nice looking combination but Thorsen bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Aims gets caught by a big overhand right and goes down! Thorsen gets on top of him and starts throwing some serious punches until the ref intervenes and stops the fight!
